FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a dedicated instance and a Swiss AI platform?

Swiss platforms separate your data from that of other customers, but the language model behind them is usually shared. With Tomyra AI, the model runs exclusively for you. For some purposes, data separation is sufficient; for data requiring the highest level of protection, complete isolation is the key difference that leaves your ISDP concept unaffected.

Which models does Tomyra AI use?

Open language models, selected and configured for your organization’s tasks and run efficiently on standard hardware. We continuously evaluate new models—including the Swiss Apertus model in the future—and deploy them as updates.

Can we run Tomyra AI without an internet connection at all?

Yes, as the air-gapped option of the on-premises edition. Updates are then delivered on data storage media or installed by us on-site.

We don’t have our own IT department. Is this still possible?

Yes. Either hosted by us in Switzerland, or through your existing IT service provider, who operates Tomyra AI as a partner.

How are employees onboarded?

It starts with a workshop where we set up the instance with your team. Training sessions, a power-user program for internal champions, and ongoing support are available as add-ons.

When will Tomyra AI be available?

We are currently finalizing the first version of Tomyra AI. Sign up for our newsletter or contact us, and we’ll let you know as soon as the pilot phase begins.

We’re an IT service provider. How do we become a partner?

Schedule a meeting. We’ll review your customer base and environment, set up a test instance, and determine which partner role is right for you.
